Fast Facts
Investigators are exploring a possible connection to a pair of assaults that took place in the same area of Orange County, in 2006 and 2007.
In both cases, the victim was a female jogger. Though the other two victims managed to escape, both were sexually assaulted while jogging. No suspect was confirmed in either case.
On June 12, 2008, police arrested Clemente Garcia and charged him with sexual battery in relation to the 2007 assault. Police stated that, at this time, there is no connection between Garcia and the Ganguzza case.
Investigators have ruled Ganguzza's case a kidnapping and murder and are awaiting autopsy results to determine if she was sexually assaulted.
